MEETINGS:

Monthly meeting, Second Tuesday, 7:30 at Concord Airport Terminal.

Friday Fun Fly, Third Friday, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Gym at the Church of the Nazarene, 1650 Ashby Dr., Concord

Fun Fly this month on August 15.




TREASURER REPORT:

$3622.78 current balance

OLD BUSINESS:

none.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Aug. 16-17, Ted Goyet Memorial Contest, see attached.











Oct. 4-5, Ringmaster Fly-a-thon, see attached.









Sept. 12, 9:00am, Catapult Contest.

NEW BUSINESS:

The club received the hat from the Flying Tigers contribution.  Hat presented to Warren, with the club's thanks for his efforts in coordination.

Discussion of potential flying sites.

Warren has stopped driving, and will need help in future to attend future flying sessions.  Please let him know if you can help him out!

Discussion of fire safety with regards to the draught.

Mr. Grant has contributed some balsa to the raffle.  The club is reminded to use the good balsa first.

The club will sponsor a trophy for U.S. Scalemasters for the amount of $150.

PARADE OF PLANES:

Jim showed what was left of his plane that hit 170 mph.









Lynn presented a glider and a thrilling tale of how it won first place in something or the other.

Jerry, Skyraider by Sig, nice trainer, flies really good, kit is about $15.  Spray dope paint.








Jarrod, two foamies.  One from Flite Test design, one of his own design generally modelled on Yak 55.

Brian Workman, Ringmaster that will be electrified.










Mark Harrison showed the ArrBot, a cute little robot for educational purposes.
